Meadowview Navigation Center Women’s Shelter
The Meadowview Navigation Center in South Sacramento opened on October 1st, 2020, with 100 beds for unsheltered women aged 18 years and over.
As of May 1, 2025, the City of Sacramento administers the shelter program, while Volunteers of America (VOA) manages the site’s daily operations.

REPORTING
The System Utilization Report, maintained by Sacramento Steps Forward, provides a monthly overview of shelter and housing availability in Sacramento using data from the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). This report presents key metrics on how well shelter and housing programs are being utilized across all providers that maintain beds for clients.
