Foundation Uniting Needs and Dollars (FUND) Inc


Foundation Uniting Needs and Dollars Inc  (FUND Inc) was established in 1983 as a non-profit organization to support activities related to programs and projects funded by SHRA.

Tax deductible donations to Fund Inc. are used to assist low-income families living in SHRA managed housing, or are allocated competitively to organizations that serve public housing residents.

The following are some recent examples of activities sponsored by FUND, Inc.

Resident Service Department – Public Housing Program  Funds were allocated for a 20 hour hands-on technology seminar for approximately 50 public housing youth.

Housing Choice Voucher – Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) Funds were allocated to homeless veterans to be used for security deposits at new permanent housing units.

Attitude Commitment and Excellence (ACE) Mentoring Program Funds were allocated to allow for the purchase of a 3D printer for the ACE mentoring program.
