7th and H is a new construction eight-story, mixed-use, affordable housing community in downtown Sacramento developed by Mercy Housing California. The development has 150 studio and one-bedroom apartments with abundant upper floor common areas, including lush outdoor terraces, comprehensive resident services, the 5,000 square foot WellSpace Health Tom Gagen Community Health Center on the ground floor, and two retail/restaurant spaces for lease. Half of the apartments are home to formerly homeless residents and the remaining 75 are reserved for residents earning between 40-50% of the area median income. SHRA provided $23 million in redevelopment assistance for the $47 million project. 37 of the units are project based voucher units administered by the Housing Authority.
