Below is a list of Permanent Supportive Housing developments in the City and County.

Boulevard Court Apartments

The Boulevard Court Apartment community at 5321 Stockton Boulevard was dedicated in October 2011.  The development is a successful transformation of the former Budget Inn Motel, creating 74 units of supportive housing for disabled formerly homeless residents. Half of the units are studios and the other half are one-bedroom units.
 
The development by Mercy Housing serves low income residents and also supports Sacramento’s 10 Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness. Residents can receive supportive services on site.

Colonia San Martin

Colonia San Martin at 7271 Florin Mall Drive is a 60-unit affordable rental housing project built by Mercy Housing that includes 40 apartments set aside for homeless (or at risk of becoming homeless) individuals and families with HIV/AIDS.

Hotel Berry

Renovation of the residential Hotel Berry on L Street is underway with Jamboree Housing Corporation as the project developer. The project renovates 104 units for low and extremely-low income residents. Completion is scheduled for the spring 2012.

Martin Luther King Village

Martin Luther King, Jr. Village at 3900 47th Avenue is a cottage housing community created by Mercy Housing. The development provides 80 units serving extremely low income formerly homeless adults.

Mutual at the Highlands

Mutual at the Highlands, a new community of affordable rental housing for low income residents officially opened on December 8, 2011 at 3417 Freedom Park Drive in North Highlands,.
 
The project was developed by Sacramento | Yolo Mutual Housing Association and is located in the McClellan Redevelopment Project Area.
 
The 90-unit community was developed in support of the County’s 10 Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness, now called Sacramento On the Move and includes 66 studio and one one-bedroom units as permanent supportive housing. The remaining units are 12 three-bedroom townhomes and 12 studio apartments.
 
On-site supportive services are provided by The Effort, Lutheran Social Services, and Turning Point.

Quinn Cottages

Located at 1500 North A Street, Quinn Cottages is a community of 60 cottages offering transitional housing for up to 24-months.

7th and H

The 7th and H affordable housing project is under construction in downtown Sacramento creating 150 units in an 8-story mixed use development by Mercy Housing. Half of the units will be set aside for formerly homeless and at-risk residents. The project supports Sacramento Steps Forward, formerly the 10-Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness. A health clinic will be located on site operated by The Effort.  Other services will also be available for residents. Construction is anticipated to be completed in 2013.

Saybrook

Saybrook Apartments located at 4390 47th Avenue providing 60 units of permanent supportive housing for homeless families.

Serna Village

Serna Village is an 84-unit apartment community at McClellan developed by Mercy Housing providing affordable housing to individuals and families who were formerly homeless and have
successfully completed a transitional housing program.

YWCA

The historic landmark YWCA reopened its 31-unit facility downtown at 1122 17th Street and provides housing for low and very low income tenants. Eleven of the renovated units are reserved for chronically homeless with disabilities.
