Public Housing Cap Funds

| The Sacramento Housing
Authority will receive $7,123,692 awarded by the U.S. Department of
Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Capital Improvements (OCI)
from the Public Housing Capital Fund under the
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Of these funds, the
Sacramento County Housing Authority will receive $4,651,660 and the
Sacramento City Housing Authority will receive $2,472,032. These recovery
funds will be used to substantially modernize approximately 600 public
housing units in the City and County, including some single family homes,
increase housing opportunities for very low income households, and provide
employment opportunities in the construction industry. Contact: |
