REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MOVES TO NEW DOWNTOWN 
HEADQUARTERS IN DECEMBER 
Relocation will coincide with temporary closure 
in response to State budget impact 


Sacramento, Calif. -Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency will relocate its 
administration offices to 801 12th Street on December 18, 2009. In conjunction with the 
move, the Agency will close from Friday, December 18 through Monday, January 4, due to 
the State budget impact, and will reopen on Tuesday, January 5 at the 12th Street 
location. 

Several departments supported by approximately 130 employees operating in five 
buildings will be consolidated at the new location on the southeast corner of 12th and H 
Streets which is about five blocks east of SHRA’s current site at 630 I Street. 

Departments that will be transferred to the new office building include Executive, Finance, 
Housing and Community Development, Housing Authority Administration, Homeownership 
Services, Human Resources, Information Management and Technology Services, Legal, 
Real Estate and Construction Services and Procurement Services. 

Public Housing operations (HCV-Housing Choice Voucher and Conventional Housing) will 
be open for business as usual.
