FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE February 6, 2008 Redevelopment Agency, housing partners and homeownership counselors offer help for residents facing foreclosure Sacramento – The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency and the Sacramento Regional Partners in Homeownership will hold a free workshop for the public on foreclosure and mortgage default on Thursday, February 20 from 6:30- 8:30 p.m., at the North Highlands Recreation and Parks District, 6040 Watt Avenue in North Highlands. HUD-certified home loan and credit counselors as well as lenders will be on hand to provide face-to-face information and advice on preventing default and foreclosure. Participants include representatives from HUD Sacramento, ByDesign Financial Solutions, NeighborWorks HomeOwnership Center, Home Loan Counseling Center, Sacramento Credit Union, Senior Legal Hotline, Sacramento Mutual Housing Association, ACORN Housing, Washington Mutual, and others.
