| The Housing
Authority for the City of Sacramento and the Housing Authority for the
County of Sacramento are legal entities that operate under the umbrella
organization of the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency. These
housing authorities operate under federal guidelines from the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide both the public
housing and the rental subsidy assistance program more commonly known as
