Request for Tenancy Approval

Parent  ]
In order to schedule a Housing Quality Standards Inspection, you must first complete the Request For Tenancy Approval (RFTA) with the tenant. Once the RFTA is turned into the SHRA office, you will be contacted to schedule an inspection of your rental unit.

A copy of the recorded grant deed, or a letter from your title company may be required to verify ownership.

The RFTA will be given to you from the family. A family cannot request more than one inspection or property approval at a time. If a family gives you the RFTA to complete, please return it to SHRA promptly so that we can schedule your inspection. Also, by turning in the RFTA you stop the time on the family's voucher and keep it from expiring while we process your request.
