1. The owner or tenant terminates the lease. (Check with your Housing
Authority regarding the procedures for the family to request a voluntary
move)

2. The Housing Authority terminates program assistance for any grounds
authorized in accordance with HUD requirements. (Violation of Family
Obligations)

3. If the family moves from the contract unit, the HAP contract terminates
automatically (often referred to as a "skip").
|
| 4. The HAP contract terminates automatically 180 calendar days after the last
housing assistance payment to the owner (This is usually due to family being
over-income, or abatement of the rental unit).

| 5. The Housing Authority may terminate the HAP contact if the Housing Authority
determines in accordance with HUD requirements, that available program funding
is not sufficient to support continued assistance for families in the program.
|
| 6. The Housing Authority may terminate the HAP contract if the
Housing
Authority determines that the contract unit does not provide adequate space in
accordance with the HQS because of an increase in family size or a change in
family composition.
|
| 7. If the family breaks up, the Housing Authority may terminate the
HAP
contract, or may continue housing assistance payments on behalf of family
members who remain in the contract unit.

| 8. The Housing Authority may terminate the HAP contact if the Housing Authority
determines that the unit does not meet all requirements of the HQS, or
determines that the owner has otherwise breached the HAP contract.
