Conventional Housing are units owned and managed by the Sacramento Housing
and Redevelopment Agency that offer low-income units to families that qualify.
The rent is based on the family’s income. If there is a change in the
family’s income the rent amount that the family pays may also change.
The security deposit is equal to one month's rent or
$250.00, which ever is greater, regardless of bedroom size.
The family is responsible for paying the security deposit.
The family will be assisted in the rent amount so long as the family lives in
the Conventional Housing. Once a family moves out of one of these units they are
no longer assisted with the rent. The rental assistance is with the unit.
