REDEVELOPMENT ITEMS

TEAM BUILDING WORKSHOP – Stockton Boulevard Redevelopment Advisory Committee – Trula LaCalle, Ph.D.

On Saturday, September 20, 2003, there will be a team building workshop for the Stockton Boulevard RAC. The purpose of the team building is to accomplish the following:

Help build mutual respect among participants.
Enable candor and consensus.
Identify/find a shared group purpose.
Build understanding among participants as to who they are and why they think/act as they do.
Allow staff and committee members to know one another as people.
Teach and reveal differences in communication styles and needs.
Paves the way for more positive, proactive and productive meetings.

The workshop will start at 8:00 a.m. and will end at 12:00 p.m. Attendance is required for the entire duration of the workshop. Light breakfast and snacks will be served during the workshop. In order to plan for the workshop, a RSVP is required. Please RSVP to Claudette Edwards, SHRA at (916) 440-1322 by September 15, 2003. This is a required workshop for RAC members. We look forward to seeing you then.

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

While the Stockton Boulevard RAC welcomes and encourages participation in the RAC meetings, it would be appreciated if you would limit your comments to three minutes so that everyone may be heard. Public testimony will be permitted on each agenda items as it is called. Matters under the advisory responsibility of the RAC and not on the posted agenda may be addressed by the general public following completion of regular Agenda items. The RAC may limit testimony on matters not on the Agenda to three minutes per person and not more than fifteen minutes for particular subject.
