  2. Ms. Chiang called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m.

  4. Present: Elgin Bradley, Barbara Brown, Quonzeles Byrd, Richard Greene, May Lee, Cheryl Martin, Charlene Maryett, Dawna Mitchell

    Absent: Mary Calhoun, Shirley Drake, Loan Huynh, Rebecca Luu

    Agency Staff Present: Ya-yin Chiang

  5. APPROVAL OF APRIL RAC MEETING MINUTES
  6. The minutes were approved on a motion by Mr. Bradley with a vote of 7 ayes and 0 noes.

  7. REDEVELOPMENT ITEMS

    1. Investment Strategy – Goals and Objectives Review – Ms. Chiang gave an overview of the revised Commercial Development Goals and Objectives based on comments from the April meeting. Members then reviewed, discussed, and commented on the Housing Development, Public Infrastructure, and Public Services Goals and Objectives.
  1. INFORMATIONAL ITEMS
    1. City of Sacramento Transportation Programming Guide – Mr. Ed Cox from City of Sacramento’s Public Works Department presented the Transportation Programming Guide (TPG). Mr. Cox explained that the TPG prioritizes the transportation projects that the City will fund in the program year. He highlighted the various sections in the TPG and explained the community process for getting new projects included in the TPG. Mr. Cox indicated that the City is looking for applicants for the Community Advisory Committee for the TPG and handed out applications to those interested.
    2. Team Building Workshop/Area Tour Update – Ms. Chiang announced that the next regularly scheduled meeting in July, July 10, 2003, would be a tour of the redevelopment area instead of meeting. Ms. Chiang and the members discussed a 4 hour Saturday team building workshop in the next month.
