Christopher Golden called the meeting to order at 6:05pm
Present: Elgin Bradley, Quonzeles Byrd, Mary Calhoun, Richard Greene, May Lee, Cheryl Martin, Dawna Mitchell, Barbara Brown
Absent: Rebecca Luu, Mary Calhoun
Agency Staff Present: Christopher Golden, Sarah Hansen
The minutes were approved on a motion by May Lee with a vote of 6 ayes and 0 noes.
-The discrepancy between the numbers of votes and the attendees was due to a late arrival.
A. Determining the Responsibilities of RAC Representatives
Christopher Golden gave a brief presentation about the responsibilities of the RAC representatives.
B. Duties of the RAC
Christopher Golden gave a brief presentation about the responsibilities of the RAC, and the future possibility of subcommittees.
C. Brainstorming Session- How much in bond funds / TI funds are available? How should these funds be spent?
Christopher worked gave a brief presentation detailing the funds available for projects in the redevelopment area. Working in conjunction with the group we brainstormed on the type of projects the RAC would like to see the available funds used towards.
1. Several members of the RAC asked questions about the possibility of areas of the County annexing into the City and whether or not the RAC could promote this issue. A brief discussion followed.
2. The RAC reviewed Elgin Bradley's facade renovation for the Touch of Class located at Stockton Boulevard and San Francisco Boulevard.
3. Quonzeles Byrd requested that as a refresher, we provide a document showing the terms of each RAC member.
The meeting adjourned at 8.00pm
