Meeting Minutes

THURSDAY, April 8, 2004

  1. CALL TO ORDER

Elgin Bradley called the meeting to order at 6:15 pm

  1. INTRODUCTIONS

John Cranshaw introduced himself to the RAC and gave a brief presentation about himself, his background, and his qualifications.

  2. Present: Elgin Bradley, Quonzeles Byrd, Barbara Brown, Mary Calhoun, John Cranshaw, Richard Greene, May Lee, Cheryl Martin, Dawna Mitchell

    Absent: All members were present

    Agency Staff Present: Christopher Golden, Chris Pahule

  3. *APPROVAL OF MINUTES
  4. Elgin Bradley made a small correction to the March minutes. The March meeting was called to order by Elgin Bradley not Christopher Golden as the minutes stated.

    The minutes were approved by a motion from Dawna Mitchell with a vote of 9 ayes and 0 noes

  5. REDEVELOPMENT ITEMS
  6. A. AB 637 Presentation

    Christopher Golden gave an initial overview of the state mandated requirements for AB637. A discussion followed the presentation.

     

    B. Stockton Boulevard Investment Strategy / Bond Allocation Housing Brainstorming Session.

    Christopher Golden gave a brief update on the Investment Strategy as well as area issues that relate to housing. He then surveyed the RAC regarding residential issues that they would like to see addressed in the upcoming Implementation Plan / Investment Strategy. Throughout the process there was discussion on many related issues.

  7. COMMUNICATION FROM RAC MEMBERS AND PUBLIC ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA
  8. May Lee made an announcement regarding the SACOG Tall Forum. The Agency offered to pay for the tickets for RAC members who would like to attend.

  9. ADJOURNMENT

The meeting adjourned at 8:00 pm
