| The town of Locke is one of the historic jewels of Sacramento County and California. Located in the Sacramento Delta about 30 miles south of Downtown Sacramento, Locke is the only remaining rural Chinese-built town in the United States and is registered as a National Historic Landmark. SHRA and the County of Sacramento are working together to help preserve and protect Locke so that its residents can continue living there while also ensuring that future generations will be able to visit and enjoy this truly unique town. |
