The City’s Youth Workreation Program is an eight-week summer youth development program. Youth are given vocational training though volunteer projects and clean up projects. One summer crew is assigned to the Franklin Blvd. Redevelopment Area (funded through Community Development Block Grant funds). Ms. Rose solicited projects from the committee for the youth crews to work on in summer 2004.

    3. 8-Unit Townhouses Development at 6440 46th Street
    4. Leim Huynh, County Planning applicant, presented this item to the committee. He reviewed his plan for the development at 6440 46th Street. The development will be a two-story structure consisting of 8 townhouses each approximately 1300 sq. ft. of living space (3 bedrooms and 1 car garage). The applicant is the owner of the property and plans to manage the construction of the townhouses. The committee commented that there will be a need for an on-site manager since these units will be rental.
