Effective April 15, 2009, please include $75 per voucher
application for the Northern Sacramento, Florin Perkins and the
Sacramento Army Depot Enterprise Zones as well as the Mather/McClellan
LAMBRA. The Florin Perkins Enterprise Zone will expire April 4, 2009.
SHRA is applying for a new enterprise zone which will include
and replace the existing zone. However, the designation will be
unknown until at least May 18, 2009 and possibly beyond.
Voucher Applications with DATE of HIRE past April 4, 2009 will
NOT be accepted.
However, in the event a new enterprise zone is awarded, the
State of California will set a new effective date which may
allow voucher applications for date of hire retroactively to the
expiration date.

The street range for the expired Northgate/Norwood
Enterprise Zone has been updated.

The California Office of Administrative Law has approved
new vouchering regulations. The regulations became effective
on January 1, 2007. As a result, voucher applications must
adhere to the documentation requirements required under
Section 8466 of the new Enterprise Zone regulations.

Enterprise Zone incentives are similar to but not identical to Local
Agency Military Base Recovery Area (LAMBRA) incentives. LAMBRA
areas are located at Mather Field and McClellan Park.

A $75 Nonrefundable Fee is required at the time of
submission for each Hiring Tax Credit Voucher Application.

Florin/Perkins Enterprise Zone offers
businesses tremendous expansion potential with over 72 million square feet
of available land. Zone

access (Highway 50 and Highway 99) and very competitive land and lease
rates. This industrially zoned area is also a state designated Recycling

Northern
Sacramento Enterprise Zone is the newest zone in
Sacramento. It incorporates the former Northgate/Norwood zone and is
one of Sacramento's fastest growing regions. It is only minutes
from the Sacramento International Airport, the central downtown
business district and major freeways (Highway 50 and Interstate
80). Zone Map. This
area offers a productive work environment for manufacturing,
commercial and high-tech industries.

Sacramento Army Depot is located
in the center of the Florin Perkins Zone.
Zone
Map. This zone, marketed as Depot Park, has
over 2 million square feet of existing space with additional sites
available for build-to-suit. It provides a strategic location (Highway 50
and Highway 99) for office, research and development, industrial,
manufacturing and distribution uses. Competitive lease rates, a secure
environment and abundant parking make this an ideal business location.
This industrially zoned area is also a state designated Recycling Market
Development Zone. Leasing is handled centrally by The Central Valley
