The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors is the governing entity of the County of Sacramento, a member of the Joint Powers Agency, SHRA.

As of February 1, 2012, the Board of Supervisors serves as the Successor Agency to the former Redevelopment Agency of the County of Sacramento and is responsible for winding down the activities of the former RDA.

The Board of Supervisors also serves as the governing board of the Housing Authority for the County of Sacramento and gives SHRA authority to administer policy, funding, and programs related to housing activities.

The Board of Supervisors holds public meetings each Tuesday and the second and fourth Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. On the second Wednesday of the month there is also a night Board session scheduled that begins at 6 p.m. Meetings are held in the Board Chamber at:
